My Little Sleep Champs
What is it like working with a sleep coach? What kind of results can I expect? Is this something my family actually needs? Here, you can read the stories of other parents who have been where you are.
My name is Karen and I am a Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach. As a mother of two, I understand the exhaustion, emotional strain, and stress parents feel when their child isn't sleeping well. My goal as a Sleep Coach is to use my training and experience to help families who are exhausted and seeking a change. I have a broad understanding of the many sleep challenges that can arise as well as the strategies for gently and efficiently teaching your child the skills and habits they need to get the consolidated and restorative sleep their growing bodies and minds need.
It has been so rewarding to help families get the rest they need to better navigate and enjoy parenthood! I love hearing parents tell me that they have more energy to bond with their children and each other, and knowing that I am having a positive impact on the long-term health, happiness, and learning of each child I work with. I am grateful for the trust each family places in me when working with their child and I would be honoured to work with your family, too.
My Sleep Philosophy

There is a defined link between chronic sleep deprivation and postpartum depression or “the baby blues.” Most mothers report a dramatic improvement in their moods (and their baby’s!) once the family is sleeping well.

Study after study has shown that a good night’s sleep is just as important for your baby as proper nutrition. We’d never raise our children on a diet junk food, nor should we raise them on “junk sleep”.

Your baby has unique sleep habits and a unique personality. You have your own parenting style. The “magic” happens when we create an approach that’s right for your baby and that you can feel good about as a parent.

While many sleep coaches have taken a cheap online class or are self-taught, I have invested heavily in my career as a sleep professional. I’ve trained under one of the most well-respected experts in the field and am proud to be a Certified Sleep Sense Consultant.
